I am shocked that a distinguished investigative paper like yours can come up with this headline which is un-factual. The Armenian College is today "managed" under a temporary order of the Calcutta High Court. There has been NO DECREE handing it over to "Mother See". There is a huge legal difference between an order and a decree. "Mother See" was appointed manager by a Blind Judge, Sujit Sinha, who overturned the comprehensive, detailed Management orders of the British Judges in 1886. Judge Sinha gave NO REASON why Indians were not qualified to Manage the Institution, as such it is a useless order and an Institution of International renown, such as "Mother See" should never participate, organise, take advantage of a defective order in an illegal Court case. If "Mother See" has self respect ? There are many anomalies in Judge Sinha's order. On the day he passed the order, the Judge had NO JURISDICTION to pass the order. Surely, a well respected Institution like "Mother See" should have enquired whether the order was legal and if there are doubts, like mine, then "Mother See" should NOT participate in an illegal order ? Self-respect ? This headline which portrays that "Mother See" owns the ACPA. Far from the truth as Etchmiadzin are only Managers by order of the Court and NOT OWNERS. Hope to see a CORRECTION for your own credibility.
