Ֆրանսահայ գործչին թույլ չտվեցին մուտք գործել Հայաստան

Հիմնադիր խորհրդարանի քարտոսւղարության հայտարարություն է տարածել Ֆրանսիայի քաղաքացի Շանթ Ոսկերչյանի՝ Հայաստան մուտքն արգելելու վերաբերյալ: 

Ինչպես արդեն հաղորդել էինք, երեկ երեկոյան Երևան ժամանած ֆրանսահայ հայտնի ազգային-քաղաքական գործիչ, Հայկական վերածնունդ համահայկական կազմակերպության Փարիզի մասնաճյուղի համակարգող, Ֆրանսիայի քաղաքացի Շանթ Ոսկերչյանին (ըստ ՀՀ-ում կացության հատուկ կարգավիճակի վերաբերյալ փաստաթղթի՝ Ջեան-Բապտիստե Օզկիրիսյան) թույլ չեն տվել մուտք գործել Հայաստանի Հանրապետության տարածք: Շանթ Ոսկերչյանը հայտնի է որպես ռեժիմի հանցավոր գործողությունների, իսկ վերջին շրջանում՝ հատկապես Հիմնադիր խորհրդարանի անդամների ապօրինի կալանավորման դեմ կազմակերպված բողոքի ակցիաների ղեկավար և ակտիվ մասնակից: Նա նաև Հիմնադիր խորհրդարանի պատգամավոր է: Երևան ժամանելու պահից առանց որևէ պատճառաբանության նրա ձեռքից վերցրել են  ՀՀ-ում կացության հատուկ կարգավիճակի վերաբերյալ փաստաթուղթը, ինչպես նաև ֆրանսիական անձնագիրը: Ամբողջ գիշերվա ընթացքում նրան պահել են սահմանային գոտում և չեն տեղեկացրել իր մուտքն արգելելու պատճառների մասին: Քիչ առաջ տեղեկություն ստացվեց, որ նրան իր կամքին հակառակ հետ են ուղարկում Ֆրանսիա Երևան-Փարիզ 08:40-ի չվերթով:

«Ստալինյան մեթոդներով իրականացվող քաղաքական հալածանքի և խտրականության միջոցով հային իր Հայրենիքից հեռացնելու այս հերթական ազգադավ քայլը ոչ մի այն պետք է ծանր հիշողություններ արթնացնի մեր հայրենակիցների շրջանում, այլև պետք է դառնա համախմբվելու և հանցավոր ու ապազգային ռեժիմին հեռացնելու ևս մեկ շարժառիթ»,-իր հայտարարության մեջ գրել է Հիմնադիր խորհրդարանը:

Dear Daniel, considering that we are talking about building a whole country, from scratch, it seems to me that the grassroots efforts are far from being sufficient. Considering the needs, the problems, the challenges, there are not enough projects and programs in this regard. As for the projects that are at least being implemented, the problem is not that people (and I am talking about disaporan Armenians) don't know about them, they do know, they just don't want to be involved in them. And when they do participate in such efforts, it lacks perseverance, sustainability. For instance, all those young Armenians of the Diaspora who visit Armenia through a volunteering program, most of them do it only once, only a fraction of them (if any…) goes back, 2, 3 or subsequent times, to continue the work or to do some other work. It's a once-in-a-lifetime-experience, for almost all of them, some kind of a meaningful… leisure, a hobby which makes them feel good, and that's it. We cannot build a Homeland with this approach. Much more, long-term commitment is needed, by a much larger number of people. There is too much talk, and very little actual work. Intentions are not enough, actual sweat is what is needed.

Hello there follow commenters (I can only read the english ones, unfortunately). With my otar view of Armenia I feel like there are quite a few notable grassroots efforts going on in the country (One Armenia, Dingo Animal Lovers, Homeland Development Initiative Foundation, Research for Bio Heating Solutions etc.). I think there is a lot happening but one of the issues is that not enough people know about it. Especially not about the successful projects - Armenia might need an army of story tellers that cover the country and tell, especially the folks in the country side, how some of their fellow villagers have successfully tackled specific problems. I might be too optimistic but I see positive development also among some young people that want to make a change locally and rather not leave the country.

Unfortunately, the current regime doesn't need to be pushed or goaded into taking drastic action. I have lived in Armenia long enough to know that taking a heavy-handed approach to even the most harmless manifestations of dissent is the norm. The examples are too many to mention here. It's less a question of bad PR on the part of the regime and more a gut reaction to show the public at large that any display of dissent or diversity can and will be quashed at a moment's notice. The FP, in this regard, is playing into the regime's hands, in a round about way. On the one hand the FP claims to have aspirations of evolving into a legitimate opposition force, while on the other, it is exposing itself to public confrontations with the regime...confrontations it can't win. The public sees this as a fundamental weakness of the FB...it's statements grossly exaggerate its potential. On occasions it borders on delirium. 90% of the public here have a never ending list of grips and complaints...most of which they lay at the regime's door. But ever since March 1, 2008, when LTP had tens of thousands of people on the streets ready to assault the barricades, but advised legality over lawlessness, the masses here are caught in a dilemma. They want change but have no idea how to translate their frustration and anger into action. That formula remains elusive...

They also have a tendency to request the intervention of outside forces, foreign nationals or even governments. This approach, added to some questions about their financing, is generating at least some… suspicions towards them. --- Let's be particularly clear here : as far as I am concerned, knowing some of the individuals involved, I cannot and do not entertain any such suspicions…; are they ill-advised ? yes; overexcited ? indeed; awkward, delusional, overestimating themselves? often... ; rude, unpleasant, irritating, disagreeable ? a couple of them, oh yeah, definitely! but… actual traitors? people who, knowingly, willingly and deliberately, would want to cause harm to their Homeland ?! No. That's going too far. --- And bty, I don't believe that even the government really believes that, otherwise, it would have acted… accordingly. This remark has nothing to do with the legal problems some of the individuals in question experienced recently, since the charges they face are of a different nature).
