In his bid to win the single mandate seat in Election District 30 (town of Vandzor and immediate environs), the independent candidate Edmon Marukyan beat his 4 rivals.

Marukyan edged out his nearest rival, Republican Party candidate Viktor Dallakyan, by 11,689 votes to 9,271.

The ARF’s Zohrap Toroasyan trailed in third place with 5,272 votes, followed by the ANC’s Ashot Manukyan (3,501) and Heritage Party’s Garnik Sahakyan (2,394)
