Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan today said that oversight mechanisms were being introduced to ensure that funds allocated to Karabakh are used effectively.

Civil Contract MP Armen Khachatryan raised the issue at today’s parliamentary discussion on the implementation of the government’s national agenda, noting that Armenia allocated Artsakh over 136 billion drams (US$287.9 m) in 2021.

“We have raised this issue with our partners in Artsakh. We have started to introduce certain control mechanisms, I cannot say they are complete, but the issue is on the table," said Pashinyan.
