Armenia’s Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports wants to establish an Adaptive Sports Center for people with disabilities and has forwarded the proposal to the government for final approval.

Armenia currently has no similar sports complex, and the ministry says that due to the increase in the number of disabled people because of the Artsakh war and the need to rehabilitate them via sports, such a complex is required.

The ministry says such a complex will also support disabled athletes and Armenia’s Paralympic teams.
