The foreign ministers of Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan met in Baku on March 15 and signed a document (Baku Declaration) that calls for greater cooperation between their countries.

The document, signed by Hakan Fidan (Turkey), Ilia Darchiashvili (Georgia) and Jeyhun Bayramov (Azerbaijan), welcomes “the full restoration of sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan within its state borders, and reaffirms their support to the post-conflict rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts of the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan.”

The ministers also reaffirm their countries support of the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan, an achievement that will “significantly contribute to regional stability and security and pave the way for full realization of the region’s potential for cooperation.”
