Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan congratulated all mothers and women in the country today to mark Motherhood and Beauty Day.

“I heartily congratulate you on the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the holiday of Motherhood and Beauty. The mystery of these two holidays is the unification of the human and the divine, and like the Mother of God, the motherhood of every woman is divine and a miracle of the creation of new life,” Khachaturyan’s message reads.

Motherhood and Beauty Day is a national holiday in Armenia, celebrated on the same day as the Feast of the Annunciation.
