RA Deputy Prosecutor General Aram A. Tamazyan today called on the Constitutional Court to reject the appeals made by Raffi Hovannisian and Andreas Ghoukasyan seeking to annul the official results of the February 18 presidential election.

Tamazyan, in a point by point rebuttal, of the instances of fraud and other election violations reported by the press, citizens and opposition election proxies, argued that they did not provide substantial evidence of systematic electoral fraud.

Tamazyan maintained that the Court recognize the decision of the Central Electoral Commission declaring Serzh Sargsyan the winner.
