The second in a newly-launched series of public forums was organized on March 18 at Liberty Square.

Former presidential candidate Andreas Ghukasyan led a spirited debate among hundreds of citizens as Raffi Hovannisian took his hunger strike into its ninth day.

Joined by film director Arshak Zakaryan and moderated by political activist Levon Bagramian, the discussions surrounded the topic of civil disobedience as a form of political struggle.

"On April 9, the date of Raffi Hovannisian's inauguration, all political forces will be forced to make a final decision," Ghukasyan said. "Will they submit to the rule of an illegitimate government or to the collective decision of the Armenian people?"

Tomorrow, at 12pm, Raffi K. Hovannisian will hold an open-air press conference at Liberty Square.
