Criminal Case Into Suspicious Death of Maro Gouloyan to Continue
The Women’s Resource Center has announced that the Kotayk Provincial Court will hold a session tomorrow regarding whether or not to drop the suspicious suicide case of Maro Gouloyan.
Yesterday, the RA Prosecutor General Office stated that a motion brought by the Gouloyan’s next of kin and the “Coalition to Halt Violence Against Women” to prevent the case from being dropped had been examined and that a decision had been made to continue criminal proceedings.
The Women’s Resource Center, in its statement, says it’s encouraging that this time the Prosecutor General’s Office did not neglect the protestation of the injured party and did not reject its just demand.
