Today, Prosecutor Koryun Piloyan read out a list of those documents (Case File X and Case File Y) that need to be investigated. After completing the first file of registered investigations, it was the turn for the opinion of the commission of experts regarding the aggrieved. During the publication of the list, Liparit Simonyan, Alexander Arzumanyan's defense attorney, noted that in some of the documents the names of the search witnesses were the same. He added that the law forbad the participation of the same examiners at various examinations. "At the next trial date I will present records showing that two examiners participated in other criminal cases as examiners as well," stated Mr. Simonyan. Regarding the document list of the second volume, Mr. Simonyan noted that the court had decided to separate out the aggrieved from this case since these individuals hadn't directly been injured from the actions of the defendants and thus any examination of these documents was meaningless and didn't refer to his client. Mr. Simonyan stated, "A criminal case must be examined only in regards to the acused and within the confines of the charges brought against them." To which Alexander Arzumanyan added, "This is a list of the violations committed by the regime; let it be published."
