"New Approaches to the NKR Issue" conference launched today at the Yerevan State Linguistic University dedicated to the 20th anniversary of proclamation of Karabakh's independence.

Rector of the university, Suren Zolyan  mentioned that  such conferences help to form a correct idea about today's Nagorno Karabakh. He said, “ NK currently faces two groups of  issues – inner and outer. "In the inner respect the important thing is that Nagorno Karabakh is implementing all the functions of a state and it is obvious that it is developing day by day". Referring to the outer issues YSLU rector said that the core issue is the international recognition of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh and a great work is needed for it.

Highlighting the conduction of the conference, member of the Armenian National Assembly Tigran Torosyan said that working out theoretical approaches over the issue is very important for applying them in future in negotiating process.

Representatives of Artsakh State University, RA National Academy of Sciences, individual analysts, experts, students were present  in the conference.
