Election Monitors Ejected After Protesting Discrepancy in Voter Count

At this moment voting has stopped at the 10/9 polling precinct. An argument and a scuffle has broken out and this has prompted election officials to close the doors to the all new voters. A short while ago, election monitors at the station noticed that their tally of those who had cast ballots differed by 100 from the tally being kept by committee officials. After the monitors registered their concerns, they were forcibly removed from the polling station. Also removed were reporter Hayk Gevorgyan and the proxy for candidate Davit Hakobyan. Proxy Vladimir Karapetyan told "Hetq" that, "The election committee president had us forcibly removed and we can’t get back in because they’ve locked the doors. They have taken the ballot registers and are trying to fraudulently get those 100 votes officially tallied." Zoya Tadevosyan, a Heritage Party member serving on the Central Elections Commission, is at the polling station and is in a heated debate with the local election committee president.
