Protestors Gather Outside Government Building; Demands Differ
At this moment there are scores of protestors outside the RoA Government Building in downtown Yerevan making a variety of demands.
They include family members of an Armenian Airways plane that crashed in northern Iran in 2001 who are demanding that compensation payments, cut in 2007, be reinstated. There are also former residents of the Northern Avenue area who were evicted from their homes for reasons of "Public domain". They say they were inadequately compensated for their property and are demanding market rates. Also in the crowd is Vardges Gasparin, a former prisoner, who is protesting the closure of the "A1+" TV station.
