In a follow-up to its initial report, the Artsakh Defense Army (ADA) now claims that a total of seven Azerbaijani soldiers were killed on the line of contact earlier this morning in two separate border incursion attempts.

The ADA had previously reported that three Azerbaijani soldiers were killed in a firefight while attempting to infiltrate the border in the Martakert region.

In this latest communique, the ADA now claims that five Azerbaijani soldiers were killed and three wounded in the Martakert firefight and that two more were killed and four wounded in a separate skirmish in the Martouni region.

The ADA also claims that the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense has verified the seven deaths of its soldiers.

The ADA reports that both incursion attempts were repulsed and that fleeing Azerbaijani forces left behind a cache of weapons.
