Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs today met with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Bridget Brink (Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs) in Yerevan.

Nalbandian told Brink that he was pleased to note the positive development of mutual cooperation between Armenia and the U. S. during the past few years, allowing for greater ties in the future.

Brink said that the U.S. highly values its partner relations with Armenia and is interested to reinforce them in the future.

The two are said to have discussed international and regional issues, the struggle against terrorism, and ways to settle outstanding conflicts.

Brink valued Armenia’s contribution to global security and its participation in international peacekeeping activities.
