Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) has called on member of the armed Sasna Dzrer (Daredevils of Sasoun) group who seized a Yerevan police building on July 17 to “exercise good judgement, lay down your arms, and surrender.”

In a publicly release “Appeal to members of the Armed Group”, the NSS has even spelled out how they should surrender.

1. Leave from the pass permit door
2. Hold weapons overhead and, turning right, walk about 50 meters
3. Lay down all weapons near the umbrellas installed near the building materials store
4. Walking in single file down the middle of the street, approach the police
