Artsakh "Street Art" Festival Dedicated to 1915 Genocide

Six artists from Armenia and Artsakh participated in the first Artsakh “Street Art” festival held in Stepanakert from October 11 to 13. The festival, entitled “Eternity”, was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the 1915 Armenian Genocide. Each of the artists painted their depiction of a western Armenian writer killed during the Genocide and of Komitas Vardabed of the walls of four houses situated along Tigran Metz Street. The artists then collaborated on a mural of a pomegranate tree, which symbolizes eternity. The event was organized by the Artsakh Center NGO and the Awesome Foundation Yerevan.
