Today, at the Naregatsi Art Union in Yerevan, Hetq’s film “Listen to Our Voice”, regarding the plight of eleven convicts serving life sentences was shown. There was also the launch of a new book, entitled “Toward Lifelong Freedom”, by Mher Yenokyan, one of the eleven lifers featured in the film. The book, the fourth written by Yenokyan, was printed by Hayastan Publishers and is illustrated by cartoonist Tigran Mangasaryan. The book, in Armenian and English and published with funds raised by the public, was distributed to the attendees for free.
