Photovoltaic systems will be installed on the roofs of 90 Yerevan apartment blocks as part of a European Union financed project.

The “EU for Yerevan: Solar Community” project will provide energy  for the lighting of staircases and yard areas, as well as elevators, and is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by some 850 tons per year.
