Prosperous Armenia Party Selects Harutyun Kushkyan as Mayoral Candidate

The Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) headed by Armenian businessman Gagik Tzarukyan, has selected Harutyun Kushkyan, the current Minister of Healthcare, as its nominee for the May 31 Yerevan mayoral elections.
During a press conference yesterday Khachik Galustyan, Mr. Tzarukyan’s Press Spokesperson, explained the PAP’s selection of Mr. Kushkyan thusly, “Yerevan is the heart of Armenia and in order for every heart to function properly it needs caring hands, capable individuals and quality staff. It is in this context that Mr. Kushkyan’s mediacl expertise can be properly utilized to correctly diagnose the illnesses of our city and to offer a prognosis and proper treatment regimen.”
Mr. Galustyan added that the PAP still hadn’t selected the other names to appear on the ballot. “We only have specified the name for the top spot. The others are still being reviewed but bthe entire ballot will include some one hundred names,” noted the spokesperson.

i guess owning the private and public health sector of the country is not enough…..
