94% of Crimes Reported in Vayots Dzor Solved, According to Police
[ 2009/12/26 | 12:56 ]The Vayots Dzor Regional Authority reports that 168 crimes have been reported in the province during the first eleven months of 2009 and that 151 have been successfully solved. Serious crimes totalled 31 cases, of which 23 were solved.
There were 10 drug-related crimes and 14 involving illegal arms and weapons possession. 45 cases of property damage were registered, of which 34 were solved. During the time period in question, 94% of the crimes reported were closed as solved as compared to 78.5% last year.
