15:13, August 8, 2012Mnatsakan Mnatsakanyan, who served as mayor of Talin for ten years, now finds himself serving in Armenia’s parliament after he was drafted by the ruling Republican Party and ran in the May parliamentary elections.
The former small time mayor owns 16 various buildings and 13 plots of land in Talin.
For the fiscal year Marc 1, 2011 to March 1, 2012, Mnatsakanyan declared cash holdings of 75 million AMD.
His salary as mayor was only 1.667 million AMD and he earned another 3.5 million from the sale of agricultural produce.
Mnatsakanyan owns a 99.7% share in the Talin Auto Transport and Roads Company.
