On October 8, the new committee chief filed a financial disclosure, per the law, with the Ethics Committee for High Ranking Officials.

He disclosed 123 million AMD (US$259,000) in revenues, all in the form of wages from his prior job as the head of administration and general director at Armrusgasprom.

Harutyunyan also declared $121,640 in interest from loans he provided.

As for bank deposits, he declared 46 million AMD ($96,800), $54,105, and 110 Euros. He also owns shares in a company worth 309.3 million AMD ($651,000).

Harutyunyan owns three apartments, three automobiles, two houses and twelve tracts of land.
