• Heritage Nominates Safaryan for Parliamentary Run
  The Heritage Party has nominated Styopa Safaryan to run for the parliamentary seat in Electoral District 1 (Avan and Nor Nork).
• Hovik Abrahamyan Elected as New Parliament President
  102 MPs voted in favor of Abrahamyan and 4 against. Four votes were disqualified.

  Abrahamyan's two deputies are also from the ruling Republican Party – Edward Sharmazanov, who is currently serving as Deputy President, and a new face – Hermineh Naghdalyan.
