A march to defend Yerevan’s street animals got underway near the Municipal Building. Members of Dingo, an NGO that works to protect these animals and a group calling itself “Stop the Killing of Dogs” and scores of animal lovers, voice their demand that a company called Unigraf X (which has a city contract to round up and neuter street dogs) be disbanded. The activists claim that the company is actually killing many street animals. The marchers walked past the Government Building and the presidential palace and handed over their protest letter.
