Demonstrators gathered near the US Embassy in Yerevan to voice their concerns regarding the ongoing persecution and massacre of the Yazidi community in Iraq. Protestors say that after a group of Yazidis escaped Islamic State (IS) captivity, IS fighters singled out some 500-600 Yezidi captives and threatened to kill them as punishment for those who fled.
