Jehovah’s Witnesses Want Time to Study Retraction Submitted by H1 TV

At today’s court case, in which the Jehovah’s Witnesses is suing the H1 TV station for slander, a prosecution lawyer motioned for a postponement so that her client could review the text of a retraction submitted by the defendant.

Both sides say they want to reach an amicable resolution.

The dispute dates back to a November 2010 news broadcast by H1TV covering a murder of a couple in the town of Sevan.

It seems the TV station had interviewed neighbors of the couple’s son, Arman Torosyan, charged with the murder.

H1 broadcast a report stating that the neighbors said they had heard Arman shout, “I am carrying out the orders of the god Jehova and I am murdering the devils on his orders”, upon leaving the family’s apartment.

Jehovah's Witnesses teach thatthe "whore of Babylon", spoken of by John in the Revelations, is all of Christianity, in their view. In other words, they are the only true christians, and every other Christian faith (as well as the rest of humanity) is apostate and damned by God, destined to be destroyed at Armageddon. If that isn't hatred for the rest of the human race, I would like to hear the true definition of hatred.

Jehovah's Witnesses are an oppressive fundy sect that instills members to 'stuff their feelings' and wait on Jehovah to solve their personal problems in the ever looming Armageddon new order paradise. This cause many to just finally snap and freak out. Google: Jehovah's Witnesses family murders

The name of the game today is "it's easy to believe in everything, or nothing." Those with convictions to something, are considered 'enimies'. It is those outside JWs who marginalize JWs and consider them as enemies. But we will still love them as Jesus taught us.

There is clearly a lot of vitriol spinning around the Witnesses, which is of course exactly what they expect it's been prophesied. Convenient that a systematized culture of insularity, sexual discrimination, legal manipulation, child abuse and isolation, and brainwashing tends to bring that up in people. Presto!--self-fulfilling prophecy, made to order.

Jackie Jacobs wants the true definition of hatred - a feeling of intense hostility toward somebody or something.. hostility - a feeling or attitude of hatred, enmity, antagonism, or anger toward somebody That doesn't sound like any of the Jehovah's Witnesses I've met. There is a big difference between hating someone and telling what you believe to be the truth. If you think they are wrong so be it...but to judge their moral worth is shallow and thoughtless.

I wonder if the couple that was killed used to be Jehovah's Witnesses? They teach that ones who leave them are "mentally diseased, seeking to infect others" (July 15, 2011 Watchtower) and they tell that Jehu was doing God's will by killing apostates (November 15, 2011 Watchtower) The Watchtower is studied by Witnesses worldwide at the same time. It is true that they believe that no others will survive Armageddon and that they are part of "Satan's system of things". I used to be one. I was raised as one. Was baptized as one in 1982 but kicked out for asking questions in 2010. I hope the leaders turn away from their wicked acts (Ez. 33:11)

Jehovah's Witnesses revile anyone who exposes their brainwashing dogmas as a *hater*.Same as Scientology hurls the *bigot* word. Both cults are so much alike....

Jehovah's Witnesses need to make a retraction for all their 'fraud for God' false prophecies.

Folks here need to learn what the word "cult" means, without the Evangelical bastadisation of the word shich occurred, during the 80's. Consider what Noah Webster said, paraphrasing, "When a word comes to mean something then what it originally meant, we stray from the original intent of the meaning and are led astray." What you folks need to do is study, read your Bible and see if Jehovah's Witnesses aren't closer to the truth than any of you could imagine.

In Russia, according to news dispatches, The Jehovah's Witness are being often persecuted, banned, and their publications also banned because of Russia' 2002 anti-extremism law. This organization, its branches, its members are being accused of inciting religious enmity and hatred in Russia. Jehovah's Witness are extremely anti-religious people and organization, they are extremely anti-church, they consider Jesus as a teacher only and consider old Testament god Jehovah as their God. They use the Christian scriptures out-of-context and interpret it by human reasoning of their "founding prophets" and not by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. This whole organization is a deception by negative anti-Christian forces that created that cultism company (it is not a religion and they hate religion) in America in order to mislead people and fight Christianity; they use sugar-coated shallow spiritual teaching-preaching and they publish colorful beautiful photos of living in beautiful natural landscape as a bait and incitement to attract the naive ones, however they take and they interpret the scriptures in a different deceptive worldly way and enroll and attract people who know nothing about spirituality and Christian scripture or of being baptized in the Holy Spirit as made clear in the New Testament. Getting free from a religious system (and returning into the bosom of Jesus) is very good, but then falling in the trap of those Jehovah's Witness and their erroneous teachings is much worst.

It never ceases to amaze me that so-called intelligent people will listen to slander and gossip about a religion instead of studying it for themselves. The amount of lies and prejudice in the above comments beggar belief!

The fact is that is it all hogwash the persecutions, the attacks, the false accusations, the court cases and lawsuits are all attempts by satan the devil himself to cause an uprising not only against jehovahs organization on earth but an uprising against jehovah God himself!!! These kinds of attacks r expected to happen to jehovahs people and to intensify! Jesus said: And you will objects of hatred by ALL people on account of my name" "if they have called the householder be-elze'bub, how much MORE will they call those of his household so. "If they have persecuted me they will persecute you also!!! "If they have observed my word, they will observe yours also, but they will do all these things AGAINST you on account of my name!!!
