The Kentron and Nork-Marash District Court today threw out the countersuit filed by Edik Andreasyan against Hayk Babukhanyan.

In the original suit, Babukhanyan had sued analyst Edik Andreasyan and the news website report.am for an August 8, 2010 article Babukhanyan claimed had defamed his dignity, honor and working reputation.

At today’s session, the court also rejected the original slander suit.

Given that the sides could not reach a compromise, the court decided to end the trial and will issue its verdict on March 12.
