On May 13, the rubber raft carrying two Yerevan men fishing off Gull Island in Lake Sevan capsized.

The two were fished from the water themselves by an emergency services team dispatched to the area.

The team ordered three other rubber rafts, carrying other fishers, out of the water as well for their own safety.

Whether any of them were engaged in illegal fishing is not known.
