UEFA has fined the Croatian Football Federation 80,000 Euros for unruliness exhibited by Croat fans during the match with Italy.

The fans threw cigarette butts on the field and unfurled banners with racist slogans during the match.

Croatia has three days to appeal the decision.

In another decision, UEFA has fined Danish player Nicklas Bendtner $126,000 for flashing the name of an unauthorized sponsor on the waistband of his underwear after scoring a goal in the game with Portugal. Bendtner also received a one match suspension. 

UEFA also fined the Russian Football Federation € 30,000 for fan disturbances in the match with Poland.

The Poles must pay a €4,000 fine for similar unruliness by their fans.

UEFA on Thursday said that it had fined Germany €10 000 after their fans threw missiles onto the pitch during their opening Euro 2012 match with Portugal.
