14:34, June 22, 2012One of the most unexpected matches in Euro 2012 will take place this evening when underdogs Greece take on an unstoppable German side that has won all its games so far.
The fact that tiny Greece has reached the quarter finals can be considered a success in itself.
We should remember that nobody expected Greece to win the European Championship in 2004, but they did.
But it’s hard to believe that the Greeks can duplicate that success given that today’s German team cannot be compared to its 2004 squad that didn’t make it out of the group stage.
The Germans have played 8 games with Greece so far and have won them all.
Bookmakers have no doubts that Germany will win today’s game and are 10-1 favorites.
The game kicks off at 10:45 pm Yerevan time.
