Young activists from the “I love and green and clean Yerevan” environmental group will be handing out eco-friendly shopping bags tomorrow, Saturday, from 1-4pm at the intersection of Northern Ave and Teryan Street.
Tomorrow’s event is aimed to raise the awareness of Yerevan residents regarding the litter problem in Armenia’s capital city and the obligation of all citizens to properly dispose of theur trash.
One practical way to cut down on the litter problem is for people to use eco-friendly bags for shopping rather than the disposable plastic bags handed out in stores and markets.
