Gyumri Judoist Off to Promising Start in Olympic Games

Armenia's Hovhannes Davtyan, a Gyumri native, beat Germany's Tobias Englmaier in the Olympic men's judo (60kg last 64) at the 2012 London Olympics today. 

Davtyan beat Ilgar Mushkiyev (Azerbaijan) in the second round.
