Newly Created “Union of Armenian Nationalists” Has Foreign Agenda

Last December 22, on the day of the rebirth of the Mihr, the Armenian pagan god of justice, and the winter solstice, the “Union of Armenian Nationalists” (HAH) was founded on the site of the Erebuni fortress. Today, at its first press conference, HAH council member Armen Avetisyan, who is also the leader of the “Armenian Aryan Brotherhood” stated, “We are coming forward not only to modify the public and political sectors as we see fit and to find our place in those sectors, but we also expect to implement serious world outlook changes in the spiritual sphere.”

“We hold no intention of opposing either the Armenian Apostolic Church or other religious teachings. We simply possess our conceptions and lifestyle. We revere our gods and wish to present all of this to the Armenian public”, added Mr. Avetisyan. The nationalist leader also stated that the group would be working to spread its message to and rally like-minded forces in the region as well and that it would attempt to work with various forces within regional governments to bring about a more favorable redelineation of the Middle East as well to achieve pro-Armenian positions within the unfolding developments of the Caucasus. “Thus we will not limit ourselves to domestic matters but will attempt to conduct a specific set of policies with foreign governments as well”, concluded Mr. Avetisyan.
