ANTELIAS, Lebanon – The Armenian Association of Journalists held its 6th conference in Aghavnatsor (Armenia) on the theme “Preparing for the 100th anniversary commemoration of the Armenian Genocide.” Mr. Khatchik Dedeyan, the Chancellor of the Holy See of Cilicia attended the conference on behalf of His Holiness Aram I and read the message.

Also, within the UNESCO project Yerevan World Book Capital 2012, the librarians of Armenian librariaries held their first meeting at the Holy See of Etchmiadzin, where Archbishop Dirayr Panossian represented the Holy See of Cilicia. The participants agreed on an inter-library loan policy, establishing an archive for the early Armenian prints and creating a directory of Armenian journals.
