President Serzh Sargsyan attended the opening ceremony of the Jewelry Exhibition at the Marriott Hotel in Yerevan today.

Jewelry pieces from Armenian as well as over 70 foreign companies are now on display at the exhibition.  Chairman of the World Jewelry Confederation (CIBJO) Gaetano Cavalieri and Chairman of the Armenian Jewelers Association (AJA) Gagik Gevorkian have also visited the exhibition.

At the conference, which will take place in Yerevan on October 30, issues related to the development of the jewelry industry will be discussed, including the possibility of creating a free trade zone at Zvartnots International Airport.
