PM Sargsyan: Government Will Use "Surgical Methods" to Root Out Corruption

At today’s cabinet session, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said the government would employ surgical procedures in its anti-corruption campaign.

PM Sargsyan said he had conferred with President Serzh Sargsyan and the two agreed that the present campaign to root out the country’s endemic corruption was failing and had to be ratcheted-up.

The Prime Minister said that he would be convening a session of the anti-corruption council tomorrow

Sargsyan emphasized that the government had to get the public more actively involved in order for the anti-corruption campaign to register real success.

Miracles are possible, although not probable. Let's say that we'll believe it when we see it. Common folks have a saying: fish starts rotting from its head. Your whole head is sick and corrupt. Any chance your governers can be replaced with honest folks? I very much doubt it. Your chances to clean up your own corrupt practices are negligible to zero.
