Police report that they have arrested one man and are looking for two others for yesterday’s murder of Armenian Chamber of Advocates member Samvel Shabatyan at a Lori village restaurant.

Police say that one Artak Veranyan turned himself in and brought the gun that killed Shabatyan.

It seems that on the previous night, Artak, his brother Aren, and another man called Samvel Diloyan, met with Shabatyan at the Moush restaurant to discuss some personal matters.

In the ensuing argument, Artak snatched the gun held by Shabatyan and fired several rounds in his direction, killing him.

Artak Veranyan has been arrested. Police are searching for Aren Veranyan and Samvel Diloyan.
