30 year-old Judge Davit Haroutyunyan may be a newcomer to the bench but he’s already a rich one.

His name was also in the news as the judge presiding over the infamous Harsnakar Restaurant beating of army doctors.

In 2010, Haroutyunyan graduated the recently established school for judges in Armenia and was appointed to the bench by presidential decree in October 2011.

Now let’s take a look at his finances. Again, the numbers paint a confusing picture.

Judge Haroutyunyan declared 4,717,143 AMD in revenues for 2011. This was his salary.

He also declared 100 million AMD and $220,000 in the bank at the start of the year. His AMD deposits shrunk to15 million by year’s end.

And the judge has expensive tastes. He purchased a Mitsubishi Pajero for $50,000 and a 49.7 million AMD apartment.

His wife Ruzanna Mantashyan declared no revenues for 2011but had $477,000 stashed away in the bank.
