HAK’s Shahnazaryan – Present Ruling Forces Have No Political Future After Regime Change

Davit Shahnazaryan, a representative of the opposition HAK, said today that after regime change in Armenia those political forces presently constituting the government will have no political future.

“They will not last for even one day as the opposition because they lack any political content. In Armenia today, other than the authorities and nomenclature, there is no other political force except for the opposition. Thus, via the upcoming elections it will be revealed what segments of the HAK are in the camp of the authorities and what segments, the opposition,” said Mr. Shahnazaryan.

The HAK representative said that the upcoming public rally on March 1 would provide an evaluation of the current political situation in Armenia and the future strategy of the opposition.

“The actions we will take can be conditionally categorized as mass events and political measures. The time-out for public events naturally has a deadline and we will restart public actions at the correct time,” said Shahnazaryan.
