Gala TV claims it has proof that Republican Party MP Samvel Aleksanyan is ferrying workers from the sugar factory he owns in Akhurian to Yerevan to cast ballots in today’s presidential election.

A Gala TV crew says it photographed four minivans and one bus full of workers on the way to the capital.

Gala says it talked to a plant engineer who said that the workers were being taken to the regional capital of Gyumri but that the vehicles were spotted on the highway headed towards Yerevan.

Gala also claims that the workers have been provided with ballots on which the name of Serzh Sargsyan will be ticked in advance of placing it in the ballot box.

Workers have been instructed to exit the polling station with the unmarked ballot provided them.
