In response to a Hetq inquiry regarding a complaint filed against Hetq reporter Adrineh Torosyan by the sister of Samvel Sharbatyan, a lawyer murdered in November of last year, the Vanadzor police say that the letter has been forwarded to the Lori Regional Investigations Unit, to be attached to the murder case file.

Torosyan had written a few articles about the murder of Sharbatyan and had provided written testimony at the Bazoum police station.

After providing testimony, the Hetq reporter was again summoned, requesting that she appear in person to write yet another statement regarding the murder case.

The police argued that they had received a complaint from the sister of the deceased necessitating another sworn statement.

The reporter said she was being inconvenienced by the constant calls and that her professional work was being hampered.
