In an attempt to clarify the comments made earlier today by HAK member Anahit Nersisyan, president of the local election committee at the 5/2 polling station in Davtashen, that voters with disabilities shouldn’t be allowed to vote, the party issued a statement noting that Nersisyan was actually calling for the creation of mechamis,s that would allow such people to cast their ballots without the assistance of third parties, thus foregoing the possibility of election fraud.
