RA President Serzh Sargsyan yesterday hosted His Royal Highness, Prince Charles of Wales, who has arrived in Armenia at the invitation of the “Yerevan, My Love” charity foundation.

President Sargsyan welcomed the Prince’s visit to Armenia noting that Armenian-British relations have a centuries-long history.

The President asked to convey his greetings to Her Majesty

Serzh Sargsyan said he has pleasant memories from his meetings with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the Prince in London in 2010.

The Prince of Wales thanked  President Sargsyan for his for warm welcome and stressed the importance of the “Yerevan, My Love” program, as well as the construction project of an international school in Dilijan.

Prince Charles said he highly appreciates the great attention Armenia pays to the programs targeted at the development of education and expressed willingness to expand his program of support to young entrepreneurs in Armenia.
