A number of business owners have contacted Hetq claiming that tax officials have demanded that they pay deposits for October.

None of the owners wished to have their names published, arguing that this would only lead to more problems.

In response to a Hetq inquiry regarding the claims, the State Revenue Committee responded that the allegations were “baseless”, saying they were ready to examine all cases if and when specifics are provided.

Hetq is now trying to convince the business owners to go public with their allegations.

One business owners says he has already paid a 20 million AMD deposit.
