Today, Yerevan's Kentron and Nork-Marash Jurisdictional Court found Gagik Jhangiryan guilty of violating Article 316 of the ToA Criminal Code (using force against a representative of the state) and sentenced the former deputy prosecutor general, who had publicly supported Levon Ter-Petrosyan in last year's presidential elections, to three years imprisonment. The sentence starts retroactively as of February 23, 2008.
