On Saturday, July 11, the Kentron and Nork-Marash District Court ordered the arrest of two individuals in connection with the assault and ferocious beating of reporter/attorney Argishti Kiviryan. Mr. Kiviryan's wife, Lousineh Sahakyan, also an attorney, reported that the court has not revealed the identity of the two individuals. She noted that relatives of the two showed up outside the court in fancy foreign SUV's. Mr. Kiviryan was attacked outside his home on April 30 by three individuals. Shots were also fired during the incident but the spent shells mysteriously disappeared from the crime scene. The General Prosecutor's Office and the RoA Police state that the authority to release information on the case rests with the National Security Service which told "Hetq" that certain details would be forthcoming in the next few days.
