Feudin' Clans Duke It Out in Sevan

Around 4 this afternoon in the center of the town of Sevan, two families went at it with guns and knives; straight out of a scene from the famous feudin’ Hatfields and McCoys of rural Appalachia in 19th century United States. The altercation between the two clans, the Feroyan’s and the Mnatsakanyan’s, who are related, is said by local residents to go way back and to deal with money matters. Who would have guessed; right? Two of the Mnatsakanyan clan were taken to hospital while the head of the rival Feroyan’s handed himself in to Sevan police.
