Japanese Fire Trucks Gifted to Armenia

This morning in Yerevan’s Republic Square, ceremonies marking the handover of 28 state of the art fire fighting trucks to Armenia took place. The equipment was a gift from the Japanese International Cooperation Agency. Fire-fighters from Japan were on hand to display just what the trucks were capable of when it comes to fighting fires. This was followed by a display exercise conducted by Armenian fire-fighters. Taking part in the ceremonies were high ranking government officials, members of the diplomatic corps in Armenia and representatives of various international organizations. Photos: Gagik Shamshyan
